Today we have hosted a very well run swimming meet. Thank you for creating this environment... The volunteers make these meets a great example as they demonstrate what a ‘Swimming Community’ should look like in Jeddah.

The new scoreboard system worked very well, and thoroughly enjoyed by all of the swimmers. Right now all our swimmers and visitors are in the most professional setting in Jeddah, without question!

Thank you to all our extremely helpful volunteers. We would like to thank 121 swimmers for giving their best at the meet, 60 adults for supporting/cheering for all swimmers, 30 parent volunteers who had carried out important positions and roles, and 6 teacher volunteers for ensuring smooth function of the meet.

We would like to update you about our recent swimming trip to Abu-Dhabi. We have competed in the BSME Swimming Championships. There were 17 International schools participating in this meet and over 230 individual athletes. Everyone (swimmers, parents, coaches) were happy in a positive environment.

BISJ Stingrays Swimming Team collected 56 medals. Mohamed Jaber set two new BSME Swimming Records in 200 Freestyle and 200 IM, and he also achieved two quadruple A times which qualifies him for major meets around the world. Pablo Ortega had set an astonishing new record in 50 Backstroke and achieved triple A time.

Our boy's relay team were 28 milliseconds off in setting a new record for the 200 Medley relay.

On the 9th of February, Jeddah Prep and Grammar School had put together a very well-organised swimming meet. We thank all of the JPGS volunteers and all parent volunteers from all participating teams for their efficiency and assistance.
We would also like to thank all of our teachers and BISJ parent volunteers who have taken a number of different roles in helping to run a successful swim meet.
Once again thank you for all your support, and we look forward to participating in another JPGS organised swimming meet.
Stingrays swimming team had achieved 75 PB's at this meet. Well done to all swimmers who participated.
AISJ and BISJ had a wonderful Friday AM training and we have had more than 30 senior swimmers training 'strongly'. A 'Thank you goes out to Mrs. Swanepoel' for bringing AISJ swimmers to our pool to train together and for providing quality feedback to our swimmers. We look forward to having another successful training session with AISJ.

Today we experienced and hosted a great swimming meet! This environment was buzzing with enthusiasm, thanks to our extremely helpful volunteers. We have seen quality swimming from BISJ, KAUST, JPGS and AISJ, they have achieved a lot of PB’s and socialised with one another. We have observed that everyone (swimmers, parents, staff) were happy in a positive environment. Without your support in volunteering, our coaches’, all of our officials, and parent volunteers’ enormous efforts this meet would not have been as successful. We are surely improving our ‘Swimming Community’ and we will keep on improving and moving forward as a large swimming family. Once again thank you for all your support, and we look forward to hosting another swimming meet here at the BISJ Swimming Complex.
